Fellowship Opportunities

There are several opportunities to get involved here at Immanuel.

Bible Study

Would you like to learn more about the Bible and its meaning?  Members meet every other week to discuss the Biblical passages.  For our study guide, we use the Genesis to Revelation series from Abingdon Press.  We also use commentaries in study Bibles, films, and online materials for enrichment. Please join us!

Cub Scout Pack 1916

Immanuel Church is the home of Cub Scout Pack 1916.  We meet every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.  If you have a son that is interested in Cub Scouts, come to one of our meetings and we will be glad to tell you all about it!

Friday Nite Out and Adult Game Nite

Friday Nite Out (FNO) is another fellowship opportunity for our members.

We meet for dinner at different locations each month and then return to the church for games such as Rummikub and Mexican Train.

Sometimes FNO is not on a Friday night, due to conflicting schedules, but it is always a FUN time for all.

Come and join us!

Girl Scout Troop 11825

We have an active Senior Girl Scout Troop that meets here at Immanuel.  For informtion, call the church office.

Lit Wits

Lit Wits is a book club within Immanuel where we read, meet and discuss various books that were suggested by our members.  Most books have a religious context to them, but not all.  It is for members who love to read and share ideas about what they have read.  It nudges us to read books we might not have chosen on our own, and the discussions are amazing!  Join us the 2nd Tuesday of the month!

Mary Go Round

Mary Go Round is an evening women's group which meets at 7:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month, September through May, to enjoy refreshments, spiritual renewal, sisterly care/concern in a relaxed home environment while serving others in a fun, meaningful way.

All ladies of Immanuel are welcome to join us!

MAY THE LORD WATCH BETWEEN ME AND THEE WHILE WE ARE ABSENT ONE FROM ANOTHER.

Genesis 31:49

Men's Group

Immanuel's Men's Group meets the 4th Saturday of the month at 9:00 a.m. for a Saturday Morning Breakfast to share, worship and plan.

They laugh, talk, occasionally solve the problems of the world and get roped into small projects around the church such as maintenance tasks, fund-raising activities and socials.

Come and join us!

Senior Day

Senior Day is where we honor our Seniors in the Spring Community.   We offer a hot meal, games, and entertainment to get Seniors out of the house and around other people to interact with them and find friendship.  We meet the 3rd Thursday of the month, but not in June or December. Come out and join us for food, fellowship and camaraderie.

Women's Guild

The Women's Guild was organized in 1924 and it continues today as a very active group of women serving the church.  We meet every 2nd Thursday of the month in the Parish Hall.

Our purpose is to unite all women of the church in Christian fellowship with divine help and guidance, to develop an understanding of the entire church, deepen our spiritual life, stimulate sacrificial giving and promote Christian service in the home, the local church, the denomination, the community, the nation, and the world.

Please come and join us!

Youth Fellowship

Immanuel's Youth Fellowship is open to 6th Grade through 12th Grade students.  Mr. Mike, our Youth Fellowship Leader, takes great care in making sure the Youth program is well rounded between servant leadership, education, and fun.

We recently participated in a mission trip to Marvell, Arkansas.  We had six youth participate in the trip.  They helped with painting houses, C3 (Community Connecting with Children), working at a "no kill" animal shelter caring for over 200 dogs, running the Kids Club and visiting with seniors in a local nursing home.  The local community invited us to the community college to see a performance by their local group, which was a lot of fun.  They kept the local museum and nature center open late for us and the SONIC put on extra staff when they knew we were stopping by.  Truly being a welcoming community to us all.

We do a lot in our community and beyond and hope that you will join us!
