THIS MONTH AT IMMANUEL
MISSION FOR FEBRUARY -Our mission emphasis this month will be preparation for and promotion of the Spring/Woodlands Area CROP Walk for hunger. The walk will be held on Sunday, March 25, at 1:30 p.m. beginning at The Woodlands Christian Church, 1202 No. Millbend dr. But, we want to encourage people to begin getting involved this month. There are several ways to participate. If you are able consider being one of the walkers. Sponsor Envelopes for those who would like to walk and raise money for hunger will be available beginning, Sunday, February 12. The walk is 5 km (3.1 miles) on the Millbend Loop. there is also a one mile option, or a Rock for CrOP for those who wish to put their rockers into action while others are walking,or you can be a Spirit Walker -- raise fund though unaable to walk. You can make a pledge of support to someone who is walking, or make a gift through Immanuel church. Let's show our concern for those who are faced with hunger by walking and giving from our financial resources to sponsor those who will be walking.
GAME NIGHT AT IMMANUEL - Saturday, February 4th at 7 p.m. The game will be Farkle. Bring a snack to share.
The Game Night for March will be on Saturday, March 3, at 7 p.m. The game will be Chicken Foot.
PROJECTOR FUND UPDATE - We have been enjoying our new projectors since last January. Anyone who would like to donate to the Projector Fund may still do so. The total cost of the system was $9,178.59. As of 12/31/11 we have received $4,990 in donations. The IT Committee thanks everyone who has given. Watch for news about a fundraiser in 2012.
