HISTORY OF IMMANUEL UNITED CHURCH (UCC)
Immanuel United Church was founded in 1916 by German farmers and business men in the Spring-Klein area. The first white frame structure burned in February, 1953, and was replaced just ten monthslater by the beautiful red brick structure which stands on the original site.
You will find Immanuel on the corner of Spring-Cypress Road and Border Street in Spring, Texas.
On Immanuel's 95th anniversary, celebrated this year, the congregation still supports a full program of spiritual, educational, social and recreational activities just as they have over the years. The Immanuel Parish Hall as served as a multi-purpose center of activitity for the church members and the community The dedication of a new wing in September, 2006, further testified to the hard work and progressive nature of the members.
