COFFEE FELLOWSHIP

We have some very special members who decorate our Parish Hall for Special Coffee Hours. Here are three of our lovely young members posing for us on Valentine Day. Everyone enjoys Coffee Fellowship as it gives us time to visit with guests and each other. It is very special and very enjoyable. Members take turns furnishing refreshments.

WORSHIP SERVICE, SEPTEMBER 11, 2011

Our Service on Sunday, September 11, 2011, commerated the 10th anniversary of the assult on the Twin Towers, Pentagon, and plane crash in Pennsylvania.  We prayed for the families who lost loved ones and also honored those who worked so hard during the aftermath. Candles on the altar were lit and a prayer was said in honor of each year.

SENIORS DAY OUT

Each month (a break in the summer) the Evangelism Commitee of Immanuel sponsors a Senior Day Out. Seniors from Immanuel and the surrounding community are invited to share a delicious lunch and stay to play a variety of games. This is always well attended and everyone has a good time. This particular meeting "Sam Houston" visited and spoke about Texas History. There is an opportunity to give a free will offering.

TRIP ON THE POLAR EXPRESS

The children of the Sunday School experience the magic of The Polar Express. They read along with the story of The Polar Express as the train makes a roundtrip journey to the North Pole. Meet Santa and enjoy caroling, hot chocolate and a treat. And, for those who believe, a special gift for each child. Everyone is encouraged to wear their pajamas! This is just one of many planned trips for the children.
